Spark your child’s curiosity through hands-on learning on a real working farm!
Designed for preschool and early elementary students, this engaging class combines agricultural science, nature exploration, early literacy, and creative activities in a fun, age-appropriate environment. Parents stay and participate alongside their child as we explore farm life together.

Students should be comfortable writing independently. Parents are welcome to stay and assist younger writers if needed.

Start your month with fresh air, farm animals, and unforgettable family memories!
Each First Friday begins with a 30-minute interactive agricultural lesson featuring one of our farm animals. Families will meet, touch, feed, and learn about a different species each month through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
After the featured lesson, enjoy one hour of open farm exploration, including:

How to Enroll
All classes must be prepaid. Spots are not held without payment. Please check calendars before registering; ALL CLASSES ARE NONREFUNDABLE AND NON TRANSFERRABLE. Services are considered rendered at the time of registration due to the nature of our business and preparations made.
For assistance on using the SUFS direct pay please see the attached link below for a sample. Classes and lessons are only valid for SUFS PEP & UA Scholarships.

Do classes fill quickly?
Yes — most reach capacity within days of opening.
Do you accept SUFS?
Yes. Parents must complete payment authorization before class begins. Available for PEP & UA Scholarships.
How do I complete a SUFS Direct Pay?
After logging in to SUFS, go to the Market for Direct Pay Providers, select your child, search for Smith Acres, select our address, select each class enrolling for then go to checkout.
Can parents stay?
Parent-stay is required for children ages up to 6 and optional for other sessions. Please read notes about each class individually.
What should my child wear?
Closed-toe shoes, sunscreen if desired, and weather-appropriate clothing. Florida weather is unpredictable. Classes continue rain or shine.
No outside food allowed.
Please plan accordingly for arrival time.
Due to animals grazing, the ENTRY GATE OPENS ONLY 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO CLASS/EVENT START TIME. Classes do begin promptly at the scheduled times.
