A family-friendly session includes 30 minutes of a selected animal lesson that is always hands-on!
It is then followed by an hour of open farm play, animal meet-and-greet time, engaging farm activities, and hands-on agricultural fun for all ages.
April 3rd will have an Easter Set available for pictures for purchase!

Designed for young learners and their grown-ups, this hands-on class blends early science, sensory play, farm animals, and outdoor exploration. Parents partner with their child as they learn through themed lessons, nature crafts, games, and animal encounters.

$400 per 4-week session | Max 10 students
Students explore groundwork, grooming, health checks, halter training, communication, and daily horse care. (Not a riding course.)

9:30am–1pm | $120 per class | Max 20
Students learn animal anatomy, vitals, nutrition, health checks, and veterinary basics using real farm animals.
How to Enroll
All classes must be prepaid. Spots are not held without payment. Please check calendars before registering; ALL CLASSES ARE NONREFUNDABLE AND NON TRANSFERRABLE. Services are considered rendered at the time of registration due to the nature of our business and preparations made.
For assistance on using the SUFS direct pay please see the attached link below for a sample. Classes and lessons are only valid for SUFS PEP & UA Scholarships.

Do classes fill quickly?
Yes — most reach capacity within days of opening.
Do you accept SUFS?
Yes. Parents must complete payment authorization before class begins. Available for PEP & UA Scholarships.
How do I complete a SUFS Direct Pay?
After logging in to SUFS, go to the Market for Direct Pay Providers, select your child, search for Smith Acres, select our address, select each class enrolling for then go to checkout.
Can parents stay?
Parent-stay is required for children ages up to 6 and optional for other sessions. Please read notes about each class individually.
What should my child wear?
Closed-toe shoes, sunscreen if desired, and weather-appropriate clothing. Florida weather is unpredictable. Classes continue rain or shine.
No outside food allowed.
Please plan accordingly for arrival time.
Due to animals grazing, the ENTRY GATE OPENS ONLY 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO CLASS/EVENT START TIME. Classes do begin promptly at the scheduled times.
