Bring your class, homeschool group, scout troop, or community program to the farm for an unforgettable hands-on learning experience! At Smith Acres Homestead, we offer fun-filled, educational group tours from October to December and March to May — ideal for kids and learners of all ages.

🕒 Trip Time: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM (2.5 hours)

Each field trip includes:

• Two 20-minute educational classes of your choice from topics like:
   
  • Beekeeping
  • Milking (goats, cows, lambs, ducks – depending on availability)
  • Chicken Lifecycle
  • Worms & Parasites
  • Soil Quality
  • Regenerative Farming
  • Raising Pigs
  • Gardening
  • Horse & Miniature Horse Care
  • Livestock Guardian Dogs
  • Pasture Building & Management
  • (Starting February 2026: Dairy Cows & Milking)

🐐 All trips include full access to the animals for hands-on interaction and photo opportunities.

🍽️ Want to stay for lunch? You’re welcome to bring bag lunches and enjoy a picnic on the farm.

• Waivers required for each person attending (submitted prior to arrival)
• Payment due at booking to reserve your date
• No refunds for any reason, including weather or unforeseen changes
