Bring your class, homeschool group, scout troop, or community program to the farm for an unforgettable hands-on learning experience! At Smith Acres Homestead, we offer fun-filled, educational group tours from October to December and March to May — ideal for kids and learners of all ages.

Each field trip includes:
- Two 20-minute educational classes of your choice from topics like:
- Beekeeping
- Milking (goats, cows, lambs, ducks – depending on availability)
- Chicken Lifecycle
- Worms & Parasites
- Soil Quality
- Regenerative Farming
- Raising Pigs
- Gardening
- Horse & Miniature Horse Care
- Livestock Guardian Dogs
- Pasture Building & Management
- (Starting February 2026: Dairy Cows & Milking)
🐐 All trips include full access to the animals for hands-on interaction and photo opportunities.
🍽️ Want to stay for lunch? You’re welcome to bring bag lunches and enjoy a picnic on the farm.

- Waivers required for each person attending (submitted prior to arrival)
