The Barn at Smith Acres Animal Husbandry Homeschool Classes not only teach valuable life skills like animal care, medical care, breeding, and pasture management, but also foster responsibility, teamwork, and problem-solving in a real-world environment.

• Real Farm Experience: With over 50 animals to care for, every class is an adventure in learning how to manage and raise livestock.
• Smaller Class Sizes: With only 20 spots available, each child gets more one-on-one attention and a truly immersive experience.
• Physical Activity & Fresh Air: This is hands-on, outdoor learning at its best! Your child will enjoy two hours of fun, physical engagement in the fresh Florida air.

We believe that by supporting local agriculture, we can help build stronger and healthier communities; communities that we love to gather and teach.
Our Why?
We do it for you! It all started out for a way to raise money to support our local Veteran & First Responder Families. We are honored to say we are able to provide services, space, and retreats for them at no cost to them. ♥️ But in the process, we also fell in love with our community!

If you, or someone you know, is an Army Veteran, Married, and was deployed anytime between 2018-2024… We have a super special treat… errr… RETREAT for you! A 3-day Valentine’s Day Retreat!
Thursday, February 13, 2025 to Saturday, February 16th, 2025
Attendee is responsible for transportation to/from retreat location. All accommodation, food, drink, event & entertainment expenses will be at no cost to the attendee.
